The Plants are Confused but so are the People so it's Okay

Here in the beautiful pacific northwest we have had a very mild winter.  We had a spot of snow in November but that was it.  In preparation for the horrible winter that was predicted I bought sleds for the boys.  I figured I would get ahead of my game.  You know that when it snows everyone makes a dash for sleds, just like when it gets hot you can't find a fan anywhere.  That was a while ago and I was pretty sure I cursed myself by being prepared but the forecast for this weekend is snow.  In fact a bunch of SNOW!  Glad to know I'm not cursed (in this regards, other things are still up for debate).
So today was 23 degrees and sunny so I headed out with my new camera, which was a wonderful Christmas present from my hubby, in hopes of getting something fun to work with on my art projects.  It was so sunny that I didn't feel the need to wear gloves and when I started snapping shots I felt like my fingers were freezing to the button and I realized my mistake.  I also happen to come across a plant in bloom. Obviously it was as confused as me about the sunshine.
